Mindy Grewar is a Research Assistant for The Enterprise of Culture, based in the Institute for Capitalising on Creativity within the School of Management, University of St Andrews. Mindy's research will involve working alongside Principal Investigator, Professor Barbara Townley, and Project Member, Dr Shiona Chillas.

Mindy is also a part-time PhD student in the Institute for Capitalising on Creativity (ICC). Her doctoral research considers the mediation of audience taste within various social media applications. For ICC, she is editing a collection of case studies about the protection and exploitation of intellectual property among creative industry enterprises, and is administrator of the Institute’s grant programmes.

Previous to her academic career, Mindy worked in local authority arts and craft development in Scotland and New Zealand, and in journalism and educational publishing in the United States. At Indiana University, she received a BA in Journalism and Fine Arts and an MA in Art History, which featured a dissertation on Margaret MacDonald Mackintosh, one of the 'Glasgow Four' group of artists and wife of Charles Rennie Mackintosh.
