Robert MacIntosh is Head of School in the Department of Management and Languages at Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh, where Alan McKinlay taught until his move to Newcastle University in March of 2013. Professor MacIntosh will serve as the contact person between Heriot-Watt and Newcastle University, working with Professor McKinlay to develop teaching initiatives and conferences at Heriot-Watt that take advantage of its unique resources.

Professor Robert MacIntosh and Professor Alan McKinlay will collaborate with Project Members from Heriot-Watt University to help the CRP team forge links to the contemporary fashion industry. Their work will extend the idea of 'translation' into the world of 'fast fashion', with reference to entrepreneurship and innovation.
