The Centre for Business History, Stockholm

Another of our Associated Partners is the Centre for Business History in Stockholm, which houses the archives of H&M, the Swedish global fashion retailer.

Over the course of the research, the Centre will work alongside team members on a number of projects, including one on structured oral history interviews (from 2015).

The Centre for Business History hosted a public conference on the business-cultural history of Swedish fashion, on behalf of the Enterprise of Culture, in the spring of 2014. Swedish Innovations and High Street Fashions: Past, Present and Future took place on  27 March 2014 at the Swedish Centre for Architecture and Design, Stockholm. The conference featured talks from fashion business professionals, academics in the fields of business history and archivists, and considered aspects of the fashion industry during the latter half of the twentieth century.
